Pinaki Alarm ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. Pinaki Alarm is available on Android and iOS; some features described below (such as advertising) may not be present on every version.

How to Delete Your Account and Data

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, instantly:

In the app: go to Account → Delete Account.
On the web: visit pinakialarm.vercel.app/delete-account.html, sign in, and confirm deletion.

Deletion removes your account credentials, all notifications/alarms you have set, and (on Android) your Charity Points balance and ad watch/skip history. This is permanent and cannot be undone.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account and use Pinaki Alarm, we collect:

Email address — used to create and manage your account
Notification/alarm times — the local and UTC notifications you set, and any short note attached to each one
Usage data (Android) — number of ads watched, ads skipped, and Charity Points earned
Ad interaction data (Android) — timestamps of when you watched or skipped an ad, and a device advertising identifier used by our ad provider

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the Pinaki Alarm service
To save your notifications and account data across devices and sessions
On Android, to track ad engagement for the purpose of generating charitable revenue
To diagnose crashes and improve app performance and stability

3. Advertising (Android)

On Android, Pinaki Alarm uses Google AdMob to display optional rewarded video ads. AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier, approximate location derived from IP address, and data about ad interactions and app usage, for the purposes of serving and measuring ads. You will be shown a consent prompt before any personalised advertising is enabled where required by law.

The current iOS version of Pinaki Alarm does not include advertising.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties other than those required to operate the service (Supabase, and on Android, Google AdMob).

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time — see "How to Delete Your Account and Data" above.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Withdraw consent for personalised advertising at any time
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

7. Cookies

Pinaki Alarm itself does not use cookies. On Android, Google AdMob may set identifiers on your device for the purpose of serving and measuring advertisements.

8. Children's Privacy

Pinaki Alarm is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
